Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the TechSecure Software platform and Dealer app. By using TechSecure you agree to these terms.
1. Eligibility & accounts
TechSecure is intended for phone dealers, distributors and their authorised agents. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials (OTP, MPIN, Master PIN) and for all activity under your account.
2. Acceptable use of device-control features
You may only enrol and control devices that you have financed to a customer under a valid hire-purchase / EMI agreement, with the customer's informed consent obtained at onboarding.
You agree to use lock/unlock, blocking, location and anti-factory-reset features lawfully, proportionately and in accordance with applicable regulations. You must not use these features to harass, endanger or unlawfully coerce any person.
3. Customer consent & agreements
You are responsible for ensuring each customer receives and accepts a clear agreement describing the device locker, EMI terms and the circumstances in which the device may be restricted or located. TechSecure provides tools (including an auto-generated agreement PDF) to support this, but you remain responsible for compliance.
4. Data responsibilities
You act as the controller of the customer and device data you collect through the platform and are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and process it. Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Offline SMS controls depend on carrier networks and device conditions outside our control.
6. Fees
Access to paid plans is subject to the fees agreed with our sales team, which may change from time to time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TechSecure is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from misuse of device-control features, missed payments, or actions taken by dealers, distributors or agents.
8. Changes & contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
